The Challenge
Many organisations want to replace wet-ink signatures on contracts, approvals and regulatory submissions. The difficulty is that an electronic signature's legal standing depends on its assurance level. A simple electronic signature may not be enough for regulated transactions, while a qualified signature needs HSM-backed keys and identity-verified certificates.
There is also the workflow to consider. Documents often need to pass through several reviewers and signatories in a set order, with a full audit trail and links into existing business applications. Without a dedicated platform, this ends up spread across email, print-and-scan and manual chasing.
What It Does
SigningHub manages the full signing workflow. Documents are uploaded, prepared with signature fields and routed through configurable review, approval and signing steps. Signatories can sign from a browser or mobile device without installing software.
It supports simple, advanced and qualified electronic signatures, so each transaction can carry the right assurance level. For qualified signatures, it uses remote signing with HSM-protected keys through the ADSS SAM Appliance. Audit trails record who signed what, when and how. The platform is aligned to eIDAS, ESIGN and UETA, with APIs and connectors for platforms including SharePoint and Salesforce.
