Certdog is Krestfield's certificate authority and certificate lifecycle management platform, with a web UI and REST API designed to automate issuing and managing certificates across mixed PKI environments.

The certdog platform provides a full certificate authority and certificate management system that can host its own CAs or integrate with existing CAs including Microsoft AD CS, with support for HSM and cloud key protection. It offers a web-based front end for configuration and day-to-day operations including requesting, approving, searching, and revoking certificates, plus a REST API for automation and integration into DevOps and IT workflows.

Certdog supports multiple key stores and HSMs, CRL/OCSP services, and discovery and monitoring features to maintain PKI health including TLS discovery scans and CRL/OCSP monitoring utilities.

The platform can be deployed quickly on Windows or Linux, including via container images, making it suitable for on-premises, cloud, or hybrid PKI deployments in enterprises requiring more control than basic AD CS alone.
