ADSS Signing Server
Overview
ADSS Signing Server is a dedicated server for creating and verifying long-term digital signatures on documents and transactions. It provides web-based management, policy control, and detailed reporting for individual and automated signing operations. When combined with the ADSS Auto File Processor, it supports high-volume bulk signing and eSealing workflows.

The Challenge
Organisations increasingly need to apply digital signatures and electronic seals to documents and data at scale, whether for regulatory compliance, legal admissibility, or operational integrity. Manual signing processes do not scale, and many organisations lack a centralised signing infrastructure that enforces consistent policies across different departments and use cases.
For trust service providers and enterprises operating in eIDAS-regulated environments, signatures must meet specific assurance levels — advanced or qualified — with appropriate key protection and audit trails. What It Does
ADSS Signing Server provides centralised, policy-controlled digital signature creation and verification. It supports PAdES, XAdES, and CAdES signature formats with embedded timestamping for long-term validity. Signing policies define which keys, certificates, and signature formats are applied to different document types and workflows, ensuring consistency and compliance.
The server integrates with HSMs for key protection and works alongside other ADSS Server modules for certificate validation, timestamping, and evidence archiving. For bulk operations, it can be combined with the Auto File Processor to apply electronic seals to large volumes of documents automatically. REST APIs and SDKs enable integration into existing business applications and document management systems.
