Unsung and PKI Solutions Announce Technology Partnership

Unsung is pleased to announce a partnership with PKI Solutions, the US-based specialist behind the PKI Spotlight® posture management and observability platform. The partnership brings PKI Solutions’ technology, assessment methodology and training pedigree together with Unsung’s UK delivery capability, giving organisations a clearer view of their cryptographic estate and the expertise to act on what they find.

PKI Solutions is one of the most established names in Public Key Infrastructure in the United States. Founded and led by long-standing PKI practitioners, the company has completed hundreds of PKI projects, holds recognised industry awards for its posture management technology, and is widely regarded as a leading authority in PKI education. Its courses on certificates, keys and Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services are used by enterprises, government bodies and system integrators to build internal PKI capability.

Under the partnership, Unsung will deliver professional services around the PKI Solutions portfolio and act as a reseller of its software, supporting clients from initial discovery through deployment, operation and ongoing assurance.

Visibility across the cryptographic estate

PKI Spotlight provides real-time monitoring and alerting across enterprise PKI and HSM environments, with certificate and CRL inventory that surfaces risk, misconfiguration and impending expiry before they cause an outage. PKI Solutions’ assessment and advisory methodology complements Unsung’s own PKI health check and PKI consultancy services. Clients gain an evidence-based picture of where their PKI stands against best practice, and a practical route to closing the gaps — whether that means redesign, migration, or tightening day-to-day operational controls.

Skills and internal capability

PKI is only as strong as the team running it. Access to the PKI Solutions training portfolio allows Unsung clients to build durable in-house knowledge rather than depending indefinitely on external support. For organisations that prefer to hand operations over, Unsung continues to offer PKI management and hosting as an alternative.

Post-quantum readiness

Cryptographic inventory is the first practical step towards post-quantum migration.
