We were engaged to assess the remediation of obsolete hardware and software for a critical Issuing Certificate Authority (CA). The ask was to address the short-term challenge while providing a detailed and cost-effective path to enable longer term strategic outcomes over a multi-year period.​

An assessment paper which considered vendors, technology options, consolidation opportunities and business change. A roadmap and build logic to define mandatory, tradable and tional change activities,. A service decomposition to quantify how the service is consumed across the enterprise including people, process and system integrations to inform deliver scope and manage the risk of change activities.

A diverse stakeholder landscape led to slow paced buy-in, impacting the pace of decision making. Additionally, there was a nervousness to adopt new vendor technologies which better aligned to longer term strategic outcomes and offered significant cost savings.​
